Overview
Our client is one of the largest suppliers of natural and engineered stone in Florida and Michigan with multiple locations and expanding. They provide a wide range of products including granite, marble, quartzite, and porcelain slabs, and are exclusive distributors of Quantum Quartz and Lapitec. Slabs are sourced from Italy, Brazil, India, and Asia. They also offer tile and backsplash materials. They are seeking an Outside Sales Manager in the Michigan area to join the Michigan team.
Location Sterling Heights, Michigan
Compensation 50,000 / year
Responsibilities
Sell, promote, and present Granite and Quartz products to existing and prospective customers within the stone industry (Fabricators, Builders, Developers, Kitchen & Bath Retailers, Contractors) and develop new customers.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships with current and potential customers.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes.
Analyze potential gains, set targets, track sales, and report accomplishments.
Supply reports on customer needs, problems, and competitive activities.
Continuously improve through feedback.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to build productive business relationships.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
Prioritizing time management and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers’ needs.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Must be able to work Saturdays 9am – 2pm.
