Administrative Addison, TX, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1725 The Sales Support Representative plays a critical role in supporting and growing the HighwayGuard sales and rental business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of sales, operations, and customer service, and who wants exposure to high‑impact sales activity, cross‑functional collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth. The Sales Support Representative serves as a key customer and internal point of contact, helping manage the full lifecycle of HighwayGuard projects, from quoting and order entry through delivery, rental management, and invoicing. As HighwayGuard continues to grow, this role offers increasing responsibility, deeper product expertise, and the opportunity to expand into broader sales, operations, or leadership paths. This position complies with company policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations. What you will do:

Prepare and release quotes to HighwayGuard Sales Manager for final pricing and approval. Assist Sales with quotes for HighwayGuard sales and rentals, including freight estimates. Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all options, accessories, and configurations are correct. Verify that all required attachments, special parts, and HighwayGuard configuration details are included. Assist with the credit process, obtaining customer information and communicating acceptance/denial, terms, and related issues. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, rental timing, and general project support. Manage two‑way communication with customers throughout the order fulfillment process. Coordinate with Customer Order Fulfillment Representatives on expedited shipments, scheduling changes, and exceptions. Execute exception guidelines for changes to quantities, timing, or configurations after order acknowledgment. Respond to customer service issues related to invoicing, shipping, documentation, or product concerns. Review and process customer credits when applicable. Logistics, Rental & Inventory Coordination

Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and returns with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Lima facility personnel, Transportation, and freight partners. Communicate load schedules, including early alerts and 48‑hour advanced shipment notices (ASN). Create and manage HighwayGuard rental contracts in Point of Rental, tracking rental periods, utilization, deliveries, and returns. Monitor HighwayGuard sales inventory and rental fleet assets, supporting reconciliation with Operations and Accounting. Maintain complete project documentation, including BOLs, delivery confirmations, photos, and shipment records. Internal Support, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Provide shipment and rental documentation to Accounting to support timely and accurate billing. Log customer communications and project updates in NetSuite / CRM. Track project lettings, quote activity, and conversion trends, updating systems in real time. Provide customer and application feedback to support product development and process improvements. Develop working knowledge of HighwayGuard configurations, applications, and deployment considerations. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. What you will need:

High school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years of Inside Sales or sales support experience; Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred. Experience in the Roadway Safety Industry or selling to roadway agencies is desirable. Experience with quoting, pricing structures, and order entry systems preferred. Proficiency with NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; experience with Point of Rental is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with attention to detail and confidence in handling complex situations. Technical aptitude for working with detailed part numbers, configurations, and product options. Ability to build effective working relationships with customers, agencies, and internal teams. Familiarity with Valtir products and competitive offerings preferred.
