Buckeye Business Products
Founded in 1896 as Buckeye Carbon & Ribbon, Buckeye Business Products has grown into a leading, vertically integrated manufacturer of thermal and product labels. With over 200 employees and a dedicated team of 42 inside sales representatives, we serve businesses across industries such as warehousing, logistics, healthcare, retail, food packaging, and manufacturing.
At Buckeye Business Products, this isn’t just a job—it’s a career. Most of our employees have been here for over 10 years, building long‑term success in a company that rewards hard work and dedication. Unlike other sales roles where commissions are one‑time deals, here you earn commission on every single order. Since we sell a consumable product that businesses need to keep purchasing, our reps continue to grow their earnings year after year.
We’re looking for a motivated and results‑driven Inside Sales Representative to grow our customer base, drive revenue, and help businesses find the right labeling solutions. If you're a strong communicator who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and securing long‑term customers, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities
Proactively reach out to new and existing customers via outbound calls, emails, and follow‑ups to drive sales.
Identify and qualify leads by understanding business needs, label usage, and purchasing processes.
Follow up on quotes and sample requests addressing concerns and helping prospects move toward a purchase decision.
Overcome objections and demonstrate the value of our high‑quality, competitively priced labels to close deals.
Account Management & Customer Retention
Build long‑term customer relationships by proactively checking in and ensuring satisfaction.
Monitor purchasing trends to time follow‑ups near reorder dates and secure repeat business.
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, introducing new label products or additional solutions that fit customer needs.
Assist in issue resolution, working with customer service and production teams to address any concerns.
CRM & Performance Tracking
Utilize Salesforce and Salesloft to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain customer records.
Follow structured sales cadences in Salesloft to engage prospects and drive conversions.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, orders, and follow‑ups.
Meet and exceed sales goals, achieving monthly and quarterly performance targets.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate with others.
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required).
Basic math skills.
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.
Base Salary + Commission.
Health & Wellness Benefits – healthcare, dental, and vision plans.
401(k).
