BIA Customer Service Agent (personal lines) - HYBRID
Arbella Insurance Group is looking for Customer Service Agents to join our Connecticut locations. Our offices are in Avon, Enfield, Mansfield, Southbury and Fairfield. The ideal candidate will bring experience with Personal Lines insurance and hold a CT Property and Casualty license, required to perform this role.
As a Customer Service Agent, you will act as the agency representative to clients, fellow professionals, the public and the general business community. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting claims information, resolving general customer inquiries, providing counseling & advice on new or additional insurance needs, explaining coverage types, identifying risk exposures and qualifying potential prospects. You will maintain an underwriting renewal review process and marketing renewal program for all policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as first line of contact in reporting and assigning claim information for designated policyholders.
Resolve general customer inquiries.
Provide counsel & advice on new and/or additional insurance needs, explaining coverages and types of policies.
Identify risk exposures and qualifying potential prospects.
Maintain an underwriting renewal review process and a marketing renewal review program for all policyholders.
Qualifications
CT Property & Casualty license required.
Experience within the Personal Lines insurance industry preferred.
Customer service and sales skills are a must.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Self‑starter who can work independently and collaborate as a team player.
