Job Skills / Requirements >Event Staff Security Officers utilize their outstanding customer service skills to provide crowd control services for events such as concerts, sporting events, trade shows and conferences at various locations. Event Staff Security Officers ensure the safety of patrons, employees, and visitors at large (and small) scale events. Current Openings Evenings/Weekends Limited Day shifts
Scheduled for a minimum 4-6 events per month
Perks
Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour

SHUTTLE SERVICE offered to transport employees to and from various designated parking locations to the Amphitheater.
LOCATION Downtown and Metro Grand Rapids, MI Event Venues
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety and wellbeing of patrons, guests, and performers.
Hospitality Security with all clients, guests, and co-workers.
Access Control
Must follow venue specific guidelines.
Foot Patrols
SUCCESS
Reliability- Report for your shift on time, presentable, and in the prescribed uniform.
Friendly Personality- Being able to balance our expectations of outstanding customer service while maintaining client policies and enforcing rules.
Following Company and Client Policies- Be able to read and interpret written post guidelines, follow procedures as outlined and ensure all tasks are completed throughout the shift.
Use of De-escalation Techniques- Being able to defuse situations through and other communication tactics.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old or older.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Must be available to work at minimum 4+ events per month.
Must have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements include:
Must be able to stand or walk for 4–8-hour shifts.
Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations.
Must be able to work outdoors during operational hours.
Must be able to hear conversations (in person or via 2‑way radio) in noisy environments.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Education Requirements (All) High School Diploma or GED
