Overview

The Social Media & Ads Assistant is the direct support of COLLiDEs Director of Social Media and Content and Digital, using platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and more. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with leadership to execute and oversee content calendars, assist with ad management, support analytics/reporting, and help oversee interns. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, creative, and comfortable balancing both content and performance-based tasks. We are a small and dynamic company, so the ability to adapt to change, communicate, and enjoy being part of a team is very important. A big plus if you love sports, music and culture. Our internal companies include Portland Pickles, Portland Cherry Bombs, Portland Bangers, Lake County Captains and Official League. Additional clients will be discussed upon interview. Currently only open to Los Angeles or Portland candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Ads Assistant

Assist in launching, maintaining and optimizing weekly and ongoing paid ads and boosts for Meta, LinkedIn and more.

Put up weekly ads and any additional ads assigned by leadership.

Create UTM codes for tracking and ensure accurate tagging for all campaigns.

Pull data from Shopify and Meta Ads Manager for weekly and monthly reporting.

Prepare weekly ad recap templates and submit for leadership review.

Take notes during weekly ads calls, flag action items and support communication between teams.

Assist with creative needs for ads (graphics, videos, copy) when needed.

Update budget sheets and assist with monthly ad resets (Evergreen campaigns).

Help analyze ad performance weekly for both B2B and B2C and suggest improvements.

Social Media Management

Create or support creation of full content calendars for clients: copywriting, UGC, imagery, videos, graphics and asset planning.

Oversee Community Management for client accounts (DMs, comments, escalate complaints, etc).

Help facilitate influencer collaborations and track deliverables.

Assist with posting across all platforms as needed.

Identify social content from partners/teams/Official League and post relevant B2B style updates to COLLiDE socials.

Create monthly analytics reports.

Brainstorm ways to improve socials that align with brand pillars.

Help oversee content strategy.

Reporting Analytics & KPIs

Lead monthly analytics reporting including pulling data and formatting monthly reports.

Track KPI goals and maintain updated documentation on progress.

Organize performance data for weekly/biweekly meetings.

Review and compile data collected by interns.

Client Communication & Meetings

Attend weekly meetings for clients and internal branches of the company.

Act as a primary point of contact for client communication via email/text for designated accounts.

Lead or support client calls and presentations when needed.

Intern Management & Support

Oversee daily intern tasks and provide fast responses to questions during intern hours.

Assign tasks, provide tutorials and ensure projects stay on schedule.

Assist with recruiting, posting internship listings and onboarding new interns.

Review intern work to ensure quality and accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist with deck creation for client pitches (Google Slides / Canva).

Create weekly COLLiDE newsletters.

Update websites (Squarespace) for COLLiDE and affiliated brands as needed.

B2B music outreach for our affiliated company Official League.

Assist with cross-brand needs for Reverb, COLLiDE and additional teams as required.

Assist with decks, outreach and research for Official League.

Other tasks and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

13 years experience in social media, digital marketing, and/or paid ads support.

Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads (training provided if needed; candidates with Meta Ads Manager experience preferred).

Strong writing and communication skills.

Basic graphic design or video editing abilities (Canva, Adobe CapCut, etc.).

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Experience overseeing or mentoring interns/assistants is a plus but not required.
