CDL Ready Mix Driver - Ozinga
Join Ozinga as a CDL Ready Mix Driver: responsible for safe and efficient delivery of concrete and related products to customers in various environments.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough DOT pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, including hood raising/lowering.
Read and understand delivery tickets to ensure correct products are delivered.
Lift, carry, and load additional items such as calcium chloride, fibers, color dyes, and expansion joint bundles.
Drive to job sites, unload concrete, and return to the yard as needed, using manual or automatic transmissions.
Walk, climb, and stand on uneven, muddy, or frozen job sites, whether daylight or evening.
Lift, carry, and attach large metal chute extensions to the truck, often on difficult terrain.
Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch, representing the company professionally.
Maintain truck cleanliness, including washing out the drum after loading and unloading concrete.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, such as shoveling, sweeping, or cleaning.
Read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction and official documentation.
Qualifications
Either a Class A or Class B CDL with an air brake endorsement.
Current medical certificate.
Medium physical demand level — frequent climbing in and out of the truck and ascending/descending ladders or stairs.
Experience operating both manual and automatic transmissions.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
