Deli Clerks make sure customers have a great experience by keeping products available, greeting customers and offering timely, friendly, and caring service. Clerks make sure the Deli is clean, well-stocked, and looks good. They ensure our products and practices follow all safety rules. Additionally, they help out in other parts of the store. Location:
1500 West 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102 Schedule:
3 - 4 opening and mid shifts per week; regular shifts to include Sunday - Tuesday. Flexibility required to meet business needs. Qualifications:
Customer Service: Able to meet customer needs by providing excellent, welcoming, and timely service Teamwork: Able to be flexible to support the changing needs of our team and store Communication: Able to effectively communicate with customers and team members; uses active listening, patience, and clear communication to ensure a respectful and professional experience Initiative: Able to take responsibility for creating great customer and team experiences Dependability: Able to show up each day in a timely manner ready to work; shows strong follow-through Diversity and Inclusion: Able to contribute to a welcoming environment for customers and team members; respects people from a variety of backgrounds and abilities Math Skills: Basic math skills; ability to timely and correctly perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Preferred Qualifications:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the deli and storage areas. Occasional positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Deli Clerks may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Deli Clerks will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives, slicers, and ovens. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person and over the phone. Additionally, Deli Clerks may occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, natural molds, and loud noises. This position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.
