Job Overview
The Radon Mitigation Technician installs and services radon mitigation systems to ensure properties meet safety standards. This role requires hands-on technical work, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Install radon mitigation systems according to industry and regulatory standards
Perform diagnostic testing and system evaluations
Seal foundation penetrations and ensure proper airflow
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
Explain system operation and maintenance to clients
Document completed work and service reports accurately
Follow all safety protocols and building codes
Qualifications & Requirements
Mechanical, construction, or HVAC experience preferred
Radon mitigation license or willingness to obtain one
Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces
Strong problem-solving and technical skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
