Mortgage Loan Processor

Heartland Credit Union , located in Springfield, IL,is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of on-site Mortgage Loan Processor. This individual is responsible for gathering, inputting, review and processing of all first mortgages and occasionally second mortgage loan documents. Work includes communicating with borrowers, as well as multiple members of the internal mortgage team to ensure timelines and touchpoints are executed effectively. Post approval, the processor continues to review files evaluating for open conditions and prepares loan for closing including any disbursals; ensuring a smooth process with Mortgage Loan Officers, buyers, sellers and Realtors. Qualified candidates must have one to three years similar or related experience in mortgage lending, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional service. Experience and familiarity with Encompass software platform preferred.
