Job Summary The
Community Engagement Analyst
plays a pivotal role in advancing C.A.R.E.’s mission by leading research‑informed engagement with BIPOC communities, analyzing needs and outcomes, and translating findings into program design, donor engagement, and advocacy. The position combines creativity, innovation, and rigorous data analysis to design and evaluate programs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and produce evidence‑based reports for our target populations.
Unique Opportunity This role offers a chance to think creatively and contribute ideas for developing an app and custom systems for intentional communities, working closely with the Research & Development and IT teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform program development.
Design and refine evaluation tools; interpret survey responses and participation metrics.
Maintain donor records in Notion CRM and prepare impact reports and engagement summaries.
Track digital engagement (website analytics, social media metrics) and produce dashboards.
Collaborate with R&D and IT teams on app/system design for intentional communities.
Support grant writing and fundraising with data‑driven insights and evaluation plans.
Organize community forums, focus groups, and listening sessions to elevate community voices.
Ensure ethical standards, cultural competence, and trauma‑informed practices in all research and engagement activities.
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Types >35 WPM in typing.
Excellent oral, written, and digital communication skills.
Maintain detailed records of donor interactions and engagement outcomes.
Keep all departments informed of donor‑related events and opportunities.
Process participant leads and maintain an organized database of contacts.
Collaborate with Finance and Admin teams to ensure donor support is tracked and acknowledged.
Ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Community Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Data Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in community‑based research, program evaluation, or stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex findings for diverse audiences.
Cultural competence and commitment to racial equity and trauma‑informed care.
Familiarity with app development concepts and willingness to collaborate on tech‑driven solutions.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote, mission‑driven team.
Deep commitment to the principles of trauma‑informed care, sustainability, and racial equity.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements Primarily remote with occasional in‑person meetings and events; minimal physical exertion; may involve local travel.
