Job Description
Assist the Service Manager and Parts person with scheduling work
Order parts for jobs
Take incoming customer parts calls
Write descriptions of work performed to be used for invoicing
Look up part numbers in technical manuals and online
Research price and availability of parts
Pack and ship parts to customers, functioning as shipper/receiver
Maintain stock inventory and order emergency parts
Support service manager with customer quoting and technician scheduling based on parts availability
Qualifications
Previous parts experience preferred; industrial/electrical/heavy equipment experience is a bonus
Comfortable working with a computer, including Excel, Word, and internet searches
Excellent communication skills required
Team player who works well with others toward a common goal
Understands the value of good customer service
