Position Summary Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The clerk will work two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specifically assigned area. The clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift and maintaining the cleanliness of the department.
Typical fast‑paced grocery store environment. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
