Beacon Technologies’ Digital Optimization Team has an immediate opening for an experienced SEO Specialist. The ideal candidate will have the technical experience, business acumen, marketing, and people skills to successfully manage customer accounts and contribute to the growth and knowledge of our digital marketing team. We are primarily seeking candidates who live in the Triad (Greensboro, Winston‑Salem, High Point) or Wilmington, NC area. Very strong candidates who live outside these areas will be considered, but no relocation assistance will be available.
Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize organic search placement and rankings
Make recommendations on keyword selection and prioritize expansion efforts
Troubleshoot technical website issues affecting organic visibility and collaborate with developers to resolve them
Proactively identify opportunities to improve website effectiveness
Use tools such as Semrush, Moz, and Screaming Frog to support customer goals and increase qualified organic traffic
Provide creative and innovative SEO tactics, marketing ideas, concepts, and strategies to support customer objectives
Use Google Analytics to shape strategies, analyze performance, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations
Stay current with industry news, search engine algorithms, and emerging SEO tactics
Interface with customers to present insights and recommendations, implement strategies, and tailor organic solutions
Create custom reports and ad‑hoc traffic analyses aligned with site goals to measure performance
Assist Sales and Marketing by providing high‑level analyses for prospective customers
Requirements
Experience with digital marketing services, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager (ideally 1+ years)
Demonstrated experience with SEO strategies, including on‑page optimization, content strategy, local SEO, and generative search
Ability to clearly communicate analysis findings and recommendations to non‑technical customers
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines
Strong analytical and marketing skills
Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for customer management
