$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities
Overseeing on-site execution, working night shifts (7 PM to 4 AM)
Managing third‑party labor teams.
Executing a specific phasing plan; ensuring the phasing plan is completed entirely for each night.
Escalating any issues that arise during the night's work or forecasting potential issues.
Maintaining in-depth communication between site operations and senior leadership.
Retrofitting existing grocery buildings, modifying them to meet new design requirements and customer needs.
Responsibilities also include design review, ordering shelving, overseeing installation of new shelving through third‑party contractors, and ensuring all work meets permitted standards and food health safety standards.
Travel 75%+ of the time, typically within the continental United States, and must live close to a major airport.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
4-7 years of project management experience.
Construction, grocery/major retail background.
Able to work in a live operational environment, making changes to buildings while they’re still running without impacting customer or associate experience.
Strong communication skills.
Technological proficiency (including use of computers, email, Microsoft software, and potentially CAD or other specialized software).
Ability to travel continuously; willingness to travel 75% of the time.
Must live near a major airport or metropolitan city.
Knows how to read Composite Drawings.
Experience with Smartsheets, BIM360, Bluebeam and CAD.
Ability to make decisions in high‑pressure situations.
Preferred
PMP certified.
Experience with financial analysis is a plus.
Engineering or Construction background.
