Job Title: Make Ready Detailer
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Make Ready Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles are meticulously cleaned, polished, and prepared for display and sale. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our automotive dealership and enhancing our customers' experiences by presenting vehicles in their best possible condition.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cleaning, vacuuming, and detailing of vehicles, including the exterior and interior, to make them showroom‑ready.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects or issues and report findings to management.
Apply protective finishes and polishes to maintain paint and interior surfaces.
Conduct routine checks of fluid levels, tire pressure, and other basic mechanical components.
Coordinate with the service department for any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment.
Assist in moving vehicles on the lot as required.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all detailing work meets established standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high‑quality work.
Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Capable of standing, bending, and crouching for extended periods.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
