Marketing Assistant
Salary: £26k‑30k
Full time: 37.5 Hours
Location: Somerton
Holiday: 28 working days inclusive of public/bank holiday

As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking for a Marketing Assistant to help strengthen their brand, communications, and market presence.
The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, creative, and proactive Marketing Assistant to work closely with the leadership and commercial teams. You'll play a key role in bringing the client's story to life across digital platforms, proposals, and client communications.
You’ll be involved in both day‑to‑day marketing activity and longer‑term brand initiatives, making this an ideal role for someone with around 1 year’s experience who is enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop their marketing career in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for LinkedIn and other digital channels
Support the development of marketing materials including case studies, blogs, vlogs, brochures, presentations, and bid content
Help maintain and update website content and other digital assets
Coordinate marketing campaigns across social media platforms
Support marketing campaigns, events, and client communications
Help ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
Track and report on marketing activity and engagement
Liaise with internal teams and external partners (designers, printers, agencies)
About you
Around 1 year’s experience in a marketing role, ideally with a digital or social media marketing focus
A genuine interest in marketing, communications, and brand storytelling
Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident using Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, CMS platforms, or social media tools is an advantage
A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
Experience in B2B, construction, IT, or technical services is helpful but not essential
