About the Role Pearl Global is seeking an Associate Designer / Designer to support our Women's RTW division, including denim. This role works across multiple U.S. retailer accounts and collaborates closely with overseas teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to translate trends into commercial, brand-appropriate designs.
Key Responsibilities
Support trend research, seasonal concepts, and design boards
Develop denim collections, including fits, details, and wash guidance
Communicate design intent clearly to overseas teams and track sample development
Prepare presentation decks and samples for buyer meetings
Maintain organized design files, reference samples, and seasonal materials
Participate in presenting concepts and ideas to retailers
Qualifications
3–6 years of women's apparel design experience (denim required)
Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Solid understanding of denim construction, washes, and trims
Experience with U.S. retailer or private-label design is a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working across time zones with overseas teams
