Who You’ll Work With This position will report into the Tennis Design Director and will work alongside a team that works on Branded Tennis and Signature Athlete apparel for Women’s Tennis. This role requires experience developing and managing cross‑functional relationships with Athletes, Graphic Designers, Product Management & Merchandising, Material/Trim Development, Technical Development and Sourcing teams. The role requires translating consumer & athlete insights and trend‑right performance product. The right candidate understands that the best way to predict the future is to create it. This role will not have any direct reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training.
5+ years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design and fit.
Outstanding ability to apply and perform foundational design skills, including drawing/sketching, illustrations across analog and digital platforms. 3D experience is a plus.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, concept ideation, color theory and strong presentation skills along with the ability to convey your design point of view through a variety of visual tools to both internal and external partners.
Comprehensive understanding of materials, fit and performance design.
Relevant Apparel/Fashion/Design experience through on‑job training and strong portfolio representation. Extra consideration given to those with a background in sport performance and sport style innovation.
