Overview We are seeking a Category Marketing Manager to lead a company's app and ecosystem marketing. As the Category Manager for their app, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand awareness. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful campaigns across for professionals and homeowners. This role values strategic thinking, creativity, data-driven decision making, and the ability to work closely with teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
Support the strategy, develop, and implement the marketing campaigns and tactics for the app and products it supports to drive downloads, user acquisition, engagement, and awareness.
Identify new opportunities to enhance the app's reach, grow the user base and drive sustainable long-term user engagement.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives align with overarching brand objectives and product goals.
Drive collaboration with the Product team to understand the app features, products, releases and optimizations to drive the strategy and ensure all assets are updated and communicated to cross functional teams.
Develop the strategy for the ecosystems, supporting efforts to create synergies between the app and other systems, highlighting the services and connected home experience for the professional and homeowner.
Lead activation efforts and promotional campaigns tailored to different user segments (professional and homeowner) to drive engagement and app downloads.
Support the development of creative assets that clearly convey the value and benefits of the app to users.
Advocate and support a best-in-class brand experience across all marketing touchpoints.
Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in app marketing, digital advertising, and mobile user engagement.
Leverage data insights and market research to optimize campaigns and enhance efficiency, constantly driving ROI and campaign performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required: Business, Marketing or related field.
5+ years of experience in Marketing (with a mix of B2B and B2C) with a focus on marketing communication and digital strategies and prior app experience.
Strong project managements skills with the ability to prioritize tasks/projects, meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
Prior app GTM experience with a proven track record to support launches and products for both the professional and homeowner.

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Hybrid work setting (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
