Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) is the premier professional organization representing CPAs, accounting, and business professionals. With nearly 7,000 members, WICPA is dedicated to serving, building, and advocating for a diverse demographic of professional members.

We are seeking an outgoing individual with a strong marketing and video portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strategic, creative, data‑driven marketing professional.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing strategy, objectives and tactics to effectively market and promote the WICPA through in‑house and external ads, programs, benefits and services.

Write creative marketing copy for education programs, special events, emails, brochures, membership campaigns, and internal ads in print and digital formats, ensuring high‑quality communications that increase member participation and engage new audiences.

Research, write, edit, and proof content in accordance with AP and WICPA style guides.

Develop and execute a comprehensive video marketing strategy aligned with overall company objectives, including concepting, scripting, shooting, and editing.

Produce video content, ensuring creativity, quality, and style guide compliance, while meeting established deadlines.

Conceptualize and develop creative briefs for a variety of video content such as CEO messages, brand stories, demos, social media clips, and testimonials.

Maintain the production studio and video production equipment, and identify new equipment or maintenance needs for the fiscal year budget.

Manage the communications content calendar and distribution strategy across multiple platforms.

Research target audience viewing habits and platform preferences for maximum reach and engagement.

Lead external advertising and marketing creative campaigns, recommending opportunities and serving as the primary contact for advertising representatives.

Create new and enhanced marketing copy, driving continual improvement of content, layout, logistics, audience focus, and call‑to‑action.

Prioritize multiple projects, maintaining quality objectives and deadlines.

Track, measure, review, and analyze marketing campaigns and events for effectiveness, providing quarterly reports.

Coordinate production schedules and the communications calendar for all marketing projects.

Identify and recommend new print and electronic marketing strategies, tactics, and tools to increase membership and enhance the WICPA image.

Manage budgets and recommend cost‑efficient initiatives that increase revenue.

Work with outside vendors when necessary, building and maintaining vendor relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and a minimum of five years in a marketing role with graphic design and video experience.

Exceptional ability to write creative marketing copy, design, direct video, and produce print and digital communications; highly proficient in editing and proofing.

Proficiency with PC or Mac software, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat; Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel); HTML and email marketing software is a plus.

Familiarity with the latest technology trends in social media, websites, and content management systems.

Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and YouTube Analytics.

High level of organizational and time‑management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Exemplary business writing, communication, and customer‑service skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Knowledge of AP style.

Ability to prioritize multiple jobs flexibly while meeting quality objectives and deadlines.
