Your Role on Our Team Senior Channel Marketing Manager
The primary function of this position is to lead a team to commercialize sales and marketing programs and business building opportunities. You will partner closely with sales and other internal teams to set and action channel strategies, launch and commercialize new products, build and execute category placement opportunities, partner with Sales to manage corporate relationships, plan for and execute profitability goals, and lead team in developing tactics designed to continue to grow the business.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy (40%)
Collaborate with Corporate Account Contacts to create strategies to align on and achieve shared goals where needed
Guide teams in the development of annual business & account plans
Conduct competitive market analysis to formulate recommendations for channel plans including pricing models, promotional strategies, user & distribution value messaging, and commercial selling tactics
Collect / develop and analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal sources, customer feedback, and other sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities, and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes
Work with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, implement and postmortem channel & customer specific programs (rebate structures, promotions, events, marketing materials, flyers, etc.)
2. Collaboration (30%)
Work closely with Product Marketing & Sales leaders to understand the customer need / opportunity and our plans to gain placement via new product planning & adaptation, mix management, convert users & distribution, and promote profitably
Work closely with other marketing teams to understand the new product development roadmap, opportunities, and commercial plans to support
Work with internal teams (Finance, Supply & Demand, etc.) to manage the P&L, Demand plan / gap management, promotional plans, & program negotiations
3. Empowered Leadership (30%)
Successfully manage a team of dedicated Channel Marketing members to successfully plan and execute marketing strategies
Consistent focus on talent development & on-boarding
Enable your team members to improve performance and achieve goals by fostering high levels of motivation and engagement
The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
Bachelor's degree - focus in Marketing or Business Administration area preferred
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Marketing / Sales roles
Strong communication skills, persuasive, and able to effectively communicate ideas
Experienced in Excel, strong analytical skills and acute attention to detail
Highly organized with proven project management skills
Experience in managing teams
Willingness and ability to travel 15% of the time
