JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Commercial Congress & Meetings Management, Americas is a highly visible role that will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management and execution of Commercial Congresses and Meetings in the Americas. This role will serve as the lead for Commercial Congress and Meetings strategic planning and requires a person who can collaborate and coordinate cross‑functionally to create an industry‑leading operational framework and who can work independently in a fast‑paced environment. #LI-Remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, manage, and implement annual congress planning process and execution for Commercial, Americas, with responsibility for cross‑functional coordination

Partner closely with BioCryst Meetings team on logistical details, such as room block, venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and onsite management

Direct and lead the day‑to‑day activities of Commercial meetings & congresses and drive cross‑functional congress team preparedness, including coordinating pre‑, on‑site, and post‑ coverage outputs

Ensure smooth execution of all activities during congresses, with a focus on execution of national and regional congress Commercial sponsorships, non‑CME symposiums, and exhibitions

Manage the on‑site booth execution, including ensuring pre‑event selection, booth set‑up, onsite logistical and exhibitor training, development and management of exhibitor schedule and execution during booth hours, and post‑show evaluation

Ensure artwork, logos, and other aspects of creating and executing sponsorships, exhibit design, and advertising are done within congress guidelines and in accordance with SOPs, regulations, Commercial Review Committee (CRC), and compliance guidelines (NOTE: this role will not own content or creative development)

Lead strategic planning and execution of high‑impact Commercial meetings and events across the Americas, including regional and annual Americas Business Meetings

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align meeting objectives with BioCryst's strategic goals

Manage end‑to‑end planning including budget oversight, vendor management, and onsite execution of key meetings

Develop and maintain scalable processes and templates for meeting planning, reporting, and post‑event analysis

Ability to submit materials to and navigate CRC process through Veeva Vault, collaborating with cross‑functional Reviewers to ensure approval of effective, compliant materials

Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PhRMA, Sunshine Act) and internal policies/standards

Oversee external agencies and partners to ensure high‑quality delivery and brand consistency

Maintain a high level of cross‑functional coordination, especially with BioCryst Meetings team, strategic planning, budget adherence, customer service and creativity in managing and executing diverse aspects of meetings and congresses

Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree Required. 7+ years relevant experience in congress and meetings management, project management, and operations roles

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with successful outcomes, including experience in project management and operations

Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build solid cross‑functional relationships

Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, guidelines, standards, and practices

Proficiency in Veeva Vault and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to travel ~ 30% of the time
