Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service, assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the perishable (produce) displays. Must lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods. The workplace is fast‑paced and requires physical activities such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information to customers, clients, and colleagues in one‑on‑one or small group settings.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 60 pounds.
Preferred Skills
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
