The Crowd
About The Role:
The Crowd is partnering with a highly creative, internationally active architecture and design studio known for its thoughtful, boundary-pushing work across cultural, commercial, and residential environments. Their NYC-based team is seeking a versatile Marketing Coordinator to become the engine behind all things marketing, communications, and brand storytelling. Working directly with firm leadership, this role offers the chance to shape how the studio presents itself to the world while supporting day-to-day business development efforts.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, self-directed marketing professional who thrives in fluid, creative environments and enjoys wearing many hats. One week may focus on proposals and qualifications submissions, while another may involve social media content, internal communications, or broader brand initiatives. The studio values curiosity, flexibility, and creative problem-solving, and is looking for someone excited to grow into a well-rounded marketing role with real ownership and visibility. This position is hybrid, with three days in-office and two days remote in NYC.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and produce marketing materials across proposals, RFQs/RFPs, presentations, and other business development efforts
Manage and contribute to external communications, including social media, digital content, and brand storytelling initiatives
Support internal communications and collaborate closely with principals and leadership on evolving marketing needs
Maintain and update marketing assets, templates, and project information, ensuring consistency and clarity across platforms
Act as the primary point person for marketing efforts, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, creative studio environment
Key Skills / Requirements:
Approximately 3-6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development within a creative field
Demonstrated experience supporting proposals, presentations, or qualifications submissions
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and general comfort creating and editing visual and written content
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as the sole marketing professional
Adaptable, collaborative, and confident working with creative, design-driven teams where priorities can shift and no two days look the same
