Our client, a NYC based real estate firm, is seeking an experienced professional to lead leasing, marketing, and revenue strategy.

Job Description

  • Take a strategic mindset to maximize rent roll and cash flow by optimizing pricing, lease terms, renewals, and concessions across the portfolio.
  • Oversight of a team of leasing agents.
  • Oversee daily operations, set performance targets, hold weekly meetings, and allocate resources effectively across assets.
  • Establish processes to optimize operations and new leases.
  • Responsible for hiring and training new agents.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand brokerage revenue beyond the existing portfolio.
  • Collect and analyze weekly data on pricing trends, comps.
  • Work with asset management on new leasing and renewal trade out reports.
  • Coordinate property management related items, including walking properties monthly, move-in tracking and issue reporting.
  • Coordinate marketing items, including photography, website, listing content and the onboarding of new properties.
  • Review lease applications for approval, along with agent invoices.
  • Lead ad-hoc initiatives such as software implementation, reporting improvements, and other strategic projects to enhance brokerage capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience of residential leasing experience in the NYC market.
  • Strong command of NYC’s multifamily landscape—including fair-market, rent-stabilized, 421-a, and affordable/voucher units.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with people management.
  • Strong ability and experience working across multiple departments including asset management, acquisitions and property management.
  • Experience with Yardi, On-Site and exposure to CRM systems.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial person with professional demeanor.
  • Willing and able to answer emails, text messages and phone calls “after hours” and on the weekends.
  • Active NY Real Estate Broker’s License.
