Software Engineer/Developer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer/Developer .
Position Type: Full‑time Contract
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location: Cambridge, MA – onsite
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non‑embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software design.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for system integrations.
- Document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
- Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback, implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and relevant regulatory changes.
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Execute and document software research and development projects, advising on software domains, system‑specific issues, processes, and regulations.
- Perform software project management activities and supplier management functions, tracking and evaluating team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science in an accredited engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry program.
- Education or experience in modern HIL techniques and/or use of AI tools.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance if sponsored.

Pay Range and Benefits
Pay Range: $70–$75 per hour (based on education, experience, location, duties, and certifications).
