Co‑owner & VP of Sales and Marketing at Olivia Garden Job Title: Social Media Manager Type: Full‑time | On‑site Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) Department: Marketing Reports To: Creative Director / CEO Must submit a cover letter to smaza@oliviagarden.com About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager with 4+ years of hands‑on experience managing brand social channels, either in‑house or at a social media/creative agency. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative thinker who understands how to balance brand voice, performance metrics, and engaging creatives while driving measurable business impact. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that grow brand awareness, foster community, and support marketing and business objectives across multiple platforms. Olivia Garden tools are also used backstage at New York Fashion Week as well as often spotted on TV shows, on movie sets & used by celebrity stylists worldwide. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and any emerging channels Own day‑to‑day management of social media accounts, including content planning, publishing, and community engagement Create and manage content calendars aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and key initiatives Collaborate with creative to create high quality content Analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights, reporting on KPIs such as engagement, reach, growth, and conversions Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and best practices, translating insights into creative ideas Manage relationships with creators, influencers, ambassadors and external partners as needed Oversee social media operations, brand voice, and tone consistency across all channels Assist in photo/video shoots Edit photo, video and graphic design projects for social posts Travel occasionally to industry trade shows, activations, and content shoots Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager, either in‑house managing brand social channels or at a social media, creative, or digital agency managing multiple clients Proven track record of growing and managing social communities for established brands Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, Hootsuite) Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting tools, and platform-native insights Experience creating and executing content strategies for both organic and paid social Excellent copywriting skills with a strong understanding of brand voice and storytelling Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills Familiarity with influencer marketing and creator partnerships Preferred Qualifications Background in hair, beauty or make‑up industries What We Offer Competitive salary with room to grow Opportunity to own and shape social strategy for a growing brand Collaborative, creative team environment Professional growth and leadership opportunities *Relocation assistance is not available for this position Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Marketing and Sales Industries: Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
