We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Shipping Associate
to join our 1st shift team in Madison. This role is responsible for preparing outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and safely moving materials using forklift equipment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and accurately read
Bills of Lading (BOLs)
and other shipping documents Perform
data entry
to log shipments, inventory movements, and tracking information Operate a
forklift
to load, unload, stage, and move materials (certification preferred or willingness to obtain) Verify shipment accuracy, quantities, and destinations Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications
Previous experience in
shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations Ability to read and understand
Bills of Lading Strong
data entry
and basic computer skills Forklift experience
required Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Preferred Skills
ERP or warehouse management system experience Shipping in a manufacturing or distribution environment Pay & Benefits
