Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Lafayette, GA and Chattanooga, TN Job Description 1st shift (6am-4:30pm) with guaranteed overtime weekly! $18-$22 starting pay rates. Responsible for the mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components using blueprints. Assemble body components and electrical wiring, focusing on all chassis electromechanical and side body components. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components. Utilize blueprints to assemble body components and electrical wiring. Assemble all chassis electromechanical and side body components of trucks. Essential Skills Use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read tape measure or blueprint-style work instructions. Mechanically inclined with attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with tools such as 1/2 inch impact, 3/4 impact, 9mm wrench, 3/8 impact, 1 inch impact, hydraulic hose assembly, 19mm extensions, and 19mm sockets. Familiarity with heavy machinery, vehicle maintenance, automotive service, automotive repair, engine repair, assembly line operations, schematics, and preventive maintenance.
