Accounting Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support a reputable manufacturing company. This role focuses on new material setup and cost management in SAP and will work closely with the accounting team to support day to day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, diligent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment. Position Details Location: South Bend, IN Position Type: Temporary Worksite Type: Fully Onsite Pay Rate: $22$24 per hour Start Date: Mid-March 2026 Job Responsibilities

Process weekly invoices and payments for Accounts Payable Review bills of material, routings, and cost input data to ensure accuracy and completeness Maintain accounting records for various general ledger accounts Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Process corporate credit card transactions, including invoices and receipts Prepare schedules and reports to support tax filings Perform Accounts Receivable processing Provide general accounting and administrative support as assigned by the Controller Qualifications

2 plus years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing setting Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel Previous experience working in SAP (required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Results-oriented with strong attention to detail Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
