Sr Manager Continuous Improvement - Remote

Job Overview: The Global Continuous Improvement Sr. Manager will provide leadership of TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) deployment across the CLS plants and locations, with a focus on Americas. By partnering with CLS Operations and functional leaders and working with site-level TEOA teams, the successful candidate will accelerate process improvement and development of TEOA culture to enable ECE and business growth. As a subject matter expert, this person is responsible for the strategic growth of TEOA and supporting all sites with training and implementation. Job Requirements: Drive the growth of TEOA tool knowledge and skillsets within the CLS manufacturing team, consistent with business unit and corporate strategic targets Drive the focused improvement workstream for North America plants within the operational excellence priority in coordination with the sponsors, operational excellence PMO, and site TEOA leads to deliver the committed TEOA targets. Achieve at least star level 3 performance (SQDC
safety, quality, delivery, and cost) by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistently delivering commitments Deploy standard work / short-interval management that allows us to deliver consistently against recovery commitments across all our sites Deploy predictive maintenance systems to limit downtime and enable us to efficiently and predictably meet our service commitments Run Kaizen activities on the shopfloor, Hoshin, SMED, DL productivity workshops, Karakuri, output improvement, in coordination with the TEOA site leads, and with a focus on plants in Americas Support, mentor, and develop TEOA apprentices, practitioners and others engaged in TEOA implementation at the business unit and site level to enable them to succeed in the TEOA deployment Work with the business to identify and implement organizational needs and resources required to achieve successful implementation in accordance with strategic plans Coordinate regional and global initiatives to achieve consistency and standardization across the business unit Support all sites with kaizens, value stream mapping activities and strategic planning for TEOA star level achievements Ensure all sites adhere to the corporate star level requirements for metric tracking and transformation initiatives Provide thought leadership in lean management philosophy, tactics, and strategy Travel extensively and work across the global organization and time zones to deliver on commitments What Your Background Should Look Like: 10 years of experience in driving continuous improvement in manufacturing plants in Americas Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Engineering, Master's preferred Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence certified Competencies: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $151,200
$190,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation = base salary + incentive(s) + benefits.
