Early Intervention Specialist

Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced, compassionate,and sympathetic Early Intervention Specialist to provide services for children 0-36 months of age. Job Description: Plan and implement weekly play-based early intervention curriculum. Parent education training to include their needs and concerns related to their child'd developmental needs. Turn in all required materials to supervisor and regional center's Service Coordinator. Attend all required staff training or professional development meetings. Complete authorized service hours and adhere to agreed upon schedules unless other arrangements have been made with parents. Minimum Qualifications: Experience working with very young children. Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills. Attentive and caring with ability to communicate with parents in diverse cultural backgrounds and understand individual differences in children. Bilingual Education/ Training/ Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A). or a Master's Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Social Services, Human Development or related field; or enrolled in a program in a related field. At least one year of field experience in working with young children ages 0-5 years old, or at least 9 college credit units in related fields and acquire general theoretical knowledge about children's developmental stages.
