Job Summary:
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Baltimore, Maryland, to be a key player in our dynamic logistics operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and efficient individual responsible for managing both incoming and outgoing goods. You will be involved in receiving shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Accuracy and timeliness are paramount in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining inventory integrity. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock counts.
- Process shipping documentation and labels.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean and organized.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or receiving is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping software.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
