This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) About The Role Addison Group is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Credit Resolutions Specialist to join our client’s Payment Processing team. This role is ideal for an independent professional with a background in health insurance and medical claims management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in researching credits, reviewing remits and COBs, and balancing accounts. Key Responsibilities Generate and review EPIC cash management reports to monitor and track payments Review claim overpayments, research root causes, and take action to resolve discrepancies Access the clearinghouse to identify and address unposted or missing claims Review and interpret remittance advice (EOBs) for accuracy and payment details Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Issue patient and insurance refunds as appropriate Conduct minor outreach to insurance companies via phone and online portals to resolve issues Requirements Experience: Cash posting with EPIC within the last 5 years Minimum 1+ years of research-driven work in revenue cycle management or banking fields Strong understanding of remits Proven experience working independently Education High school diploma or equivalent required Associates' or Bachelor's in a science or research field preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working primarily from spreadsheets Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without micromanagement Confident in communicating trends and recommendations to leadership Perks Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on payment reconciliation Strong work-life balance culture Hands-on training Potential for long-term placement based on performance
