About the Role As the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the branch operates safely and effectively so that sales are optimized and customers are satisfied.

What You’ll Do

Hire, manage and support a sales team (inside and outside), customer service, warehouse staff, and operations personnel

Manage and be responsible for a P&L

Develop sales forecasts with your team and meet sales and gross profit targets

Grow branch revenue by increasing sales to existing customers and penetrating new markets

Manage the performance of employees

Build and manage vendor relationships

Attend all sales meetings

Represent Turtle at all customer events

Manage sales accounts

What You’ll Bring

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and influence‑driving skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with at least one sales area: Industrial, OEM, Automation, Lighting, Power Distribution, Commodities, Energy

Minimum 3 years of electrical distribution sales experience

Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer expectations

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a current driver’s license and good driving record

At least 3 years supervising staff, including hiring, disciplining, and terminating

Independent thinker and learner

Ability to multi‑task while paying attention to detail

Organized and flexible

Drive to sell and motivate other sales staff to excel
