BS degree in mechanical or related field with 5 years of experience in mechanical design. Experience in oil & gas equipment design. Proficient with Solidworks. Work on downhole tool component development projects, assist in analyses, modification and design of products and services. Knowledge of materials, components and applications. Previous experience in artificial lift tools preferred. Responsible for design, modification & analysis of products in oil and gas. Assist in planning and conducting tests on materials, components, subassemblies, and tools. Working knowledge of test procedures and techniques with new standards. Create / modify / update design as needed, process engineering change request within defined time limits. Produce manufacturing drawings and assembly of downhole tools, perform drawing checks. Oversee product testing, design and write test reports. PDM management, auto program and coordination with global teams. Responsibilities
