Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and review tax engagements for individuals, businesses, and trusts
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, offering year-round tax planning and strategic advice
Supervise and mentor staff and senior tax accountants; review complex tax returns and provide guidance
Research complex tax issues and develop solutions that align with client goals
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Manage timelines, budgets, and workload for assigned client engagements
Contribute to business development efforts through client relationship building and referrals
Help drive internal process improvements and promote adoption of modern tax technologies
Qualifications
7+ years of recent public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax matters
Proficiency in modern tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, ProConnect, CCH Axcess)
Comfortable using cloud-based platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero)
Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills
Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment is a plus
