Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiologic exams, while following established protocols and safety standards. Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Operate imaging equipment and perform routine maintenance and quality control checks to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate image interpretation and diagnosis. Maintain thorough patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients about the imaging process and address any questions or concerns they may have. Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program. Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Illinois state license. Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, safety protocols, and patient care practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on enhancing patient comfort.
