We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Sales Engineer
with deep expertise in
Acumatica ERP
to support our sales team. This role bridges the gap between technical ERP functionality and customer business needs. You’ll be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, crafting tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor to both prospects and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical lead in the sales process, supporting account executives with deep product knowledge of
Acumatica ERP .
Conduct detailed discovery sessions with prospects to understand their business processes, pain points, and system requirements.
Prepare and deliver customized, high-impact product demonstrations and presentations for Acumatica ERP tailored to specific industries (manufacturing, distribution, services, etc.).
Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical and functional information.
Provide input into product development by sharing customer feedback and industry trends with the product and development teams.
Stay current on new Acumatica modules, updates, and relevant third-party integrations.
Support partner and channel sales efforts with technical sales enablement and training.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other industry events.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience
in a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Solutions Architect role with ERP software.
Hands‑on experience with Acumatica ERP
is strongly required, including knowledge of modules such as Financials, Distribution, CRM, Manufacturing, or Construction.
Strong understanding of core business processes: accounting, supply chain, CRM, or project management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to tailor complex technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
Strong problem‑solving and consultative sales skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Acumatica certifications (e.g., Business Consultant, Developer) are a plus.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with competitor ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Sage Intacct).
Experience with Acumatica customization tools (e.g., Generic Inquiries, Workflows, Customization Projects).
Understanding of SaaS business models and cloud‑based architecture.
