Part Time Key Holder
for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales. Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services. Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close. Assist during high volume periods and support new employees. Know in-house products to recommend to customers. Assist with inventory management, including restocking, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies. Process cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, cash counting, and deposits. Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics. Follow age verification policies. Ensure pricing and quantities are accurate and provide receipts. Process refunds and exchanges. Monitor sales floor for theft prevention and security adherence. Maintain store cleanliness and standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms. Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards. Qualifications:
At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling. Team-oriented mindset. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds. High School Diploma or equivalent. Pay:
Compensation varies based on market and location, with a typical range around USD $18.25/hour in Tacoma, WA. Starting pay depends on skills, experience, and market conditions.
