We seek candidates who are skilled in navigating client projects on time, on budget, and on objectives. The Account Manager will be responsible for the growth and management of client relationships and their internal team (Pod). As the point of contact for our clients, the Account Manager helps drive strategic marketing plans and delivers creative work that exceeds client expectations. The Account Manager will oversee campaigns from briefing PPC experts, designers, and copywriters to managing budgets and directing a strong account and project management team. As an Account Manager, you’ll work with clients to understand their business and marketing needs, help develop the right strategies, and execute plans to achieve client goals. You should have the vision to identify business opportunities, lead client initiatives, and build strategic relationships. This role requires an experienced self-starter with strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage client service and projects within an agency setting.
Responsibilities
Onboard new clients as they enter the agency and oversee overall strategy, planning, coordination, execution, and analysis of client advertising and marketing campaigns. Lead the production of campaigns by briefing designers and copywriters, managing budgets, and directing a dedicated account and project management team; observe and communicate results to the team and client. Create insightful objectives and conversion-based strategy based on research and data from the PPC Expert in your Pod. Research, strategize, and build a cross-channel marketing strategy with the help of your internal team. Develop monthly client reporting and lead standing monthly meetings to showcase value and ROI. Lead meetings with a holistic view of advertising, including brand story, consumer strategy, and creative directions that drive the overall strategy. Oversee and manage a team consisting of Web Designers, Graphic Designers, SEO Specialists, Creative Coordinators, PPC Experts, and Marketers.
Qualifications
Eight to ten years of client service experience, with at least five years in advertising client service and agency project management. Proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience executing traditional and digital media strategies (web promotion, interactive video, SEM, social media, blogs). Proven ability to manage and lead internal teams and clients to deliver successful projects. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficiency in managing client budgets.
