The Account Manager at Supreme Builders is directly responsible for managing client relationships and driving revenue through consistent lead generation, proposal management, and contract execution. This highly client-facing role owns the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract signing and transition to operations. Account Managers ensure that all documentation is accurate, timely, and uploaded across Buildertrend, Dropbox, and PlanGrid. Account Managers are the face of Supreme Builders at the project level — developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless handoff to operations. Key Responsibilities: Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, research, and outreach. Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities in Buildertrend. Conduct regular outreach and follow-ups with GCs, developers, architects, engineers, and suppliers. Proposal & Contract Management Prepare and submit accurate proposals. Track proposal status in Buildertrend/Domo. Negotiate terms, clarify scope, and secure signed contracts or LOIs. Ensure redlines, inclusions/exclusions, and clarifications are clearly documented. Thoroughly review scope of work, highlight/redline items, completely confirm compensation for every item within scope. Documentation & Compliance Upload all required documents (plans, proposals, contracts, clarifications) into Dropbox, Buildertrend, and PlanGrid. Ensure the most updated drawings are available in PlanGrid for operations. Maintain 100% compliance with documentation accuracy before Pre-Construction Meetings. Prepare Buildertrend Job from Lead Opportunity by creating an estimate per f-cat & cost code as it relates to the job scope of work. Schedule and attend Pre-Construction meetings with Sr. PM’s before the start of every project to present a complete hand-off packet which includes all documentation in Buildertrend and PlanGrid. Most up-to-date prints and shop drawings in PlanGrid. Estimate prepared w/accurate cost codes. Scope of Work with accurate inclusions & exclusions. Client Relationship Management (Post-Sale) Assist Sr. PM with addendums, RFIs, and change orders through Buildertrend. Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction (touch-base emails, phone calls, and job site visits). Escalate challenges to the General Manager as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Experience & Knowledge Minimum 5+ years of proven success in construction sales, project management, or account management. Strong ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings with technical accuracy. Skilled in preparing estimates, material/labor take-offs, and bid packages. Established relationships with GCs, developers, architects, engineers, and suppliers that can immediately add value. Deep understanding of the construction sales cycle and preconstruction requirements. Technical & Analytical Skills Highly proficient in Buildertrend, Dropbox, PlanGrid, Domo, and CRM/sales tracking systems. Strong computer literacy, including advanced Excel and digital collaboration tools. Ability to quickly learn new platforms and adapt to evolving technology. Strong analytical skills for assessing project feasibility, risk, and profitability. Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrates professionalism through integrity, discipline, and accountability; brings a growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and results; and naturally models the leadership behaviors that build trust, strong teams, and lasting client relationships. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to anticipate and resolve challenges before escalation. People & Relationship Skills Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Highly skilled in networking, relationship building, and representing the company at industry events. Strong social intelligence — able to read people, build trust quickly, and maintain long-term partnerships. Ability to coach, mentor, and train new Account Managers, setting the standard for performance and professionalism. Demonstrated team player with the ability to collaborate across sales, estimating, operations, and finance. Additional Preferences Spanish language knowledge preferred (not required). OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (demonstrates safety awareness in the field). Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred but not required (experience and results weigh heavier). Willingness to travel within the state for client meetings, site visits, and networking events.
