Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balances register according to company policy Call out prices for customers when ringing transactions Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout Handles cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by policy Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks Handles maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned Provides proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing in customers promptly, thanking customers for shopping and inviting return Follows all safety procedures Maintains a professional, neat appearance and wears a name tag Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels Assists management with tasks per company policy Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Supports Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) Seniority level
