Excelligence - Field Account Manager, Educational Sales (Must be home based in the New York City area) Excelligence is a leading developer, manufacturer, and distributor of educational products. We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced sales professional to join our high-energy and impactful team. This role involves managing an outside territory in the greater Los Angeles area, focused on the PreK-12 School District Market, with emphasis on building and growing client relationships. We welcome former educators to apply and join our mission to meet the needs of school districts. We offer a competitive compensation structure with a base salary and commission plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage sales revenue and margins within an assigned geography. Generate sales through various sources, including industry knowledge, territory, catalog, website, and more. Call on new and existing clients daily to establish and maintain relationships. Promote Excelligence offerings tailored to client needs and challenges. Implement special programs as needed. Travel to customer locations; face-to-face visits are essential. Meet with administrators and staff to demonstrate products via workshops, in-service sessions, and educational programs. Propose product applications based on curriculum and specific needs. Prepare and set up materials for conferences and participate in booth activities to foster relationships and drive sales. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of outside sales experience. Candidates with Early Childhood and School District experience or a strong sales background interested in the growing Early Childhood industry are encouraged to apply.
