Our Account Managers leverage Spot’s services and freight solutions to identify potential new customers, nurture relationships, and build lasting partnerships. Account Managers are responsible for prospecting, communicating, quoting, developing, operating, and maintaining their customer accounts. Responsibilities
Business Development: Understand prospective clients’ unique shipping requirements and maintain a consistent sales pipeline through cold calls and ongoing communication. Customer Growth: Design and execute a unique strategy for each account that encourages profitable growth while believing in our delivery promise. Relationships: Serve as a resource to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, industry standards and provide quotes appropriately considering all variable factors. Operations: Maintain operational efficiencies for customers freight, build schedules, and secure capacity while partnering with carriers to secure the best viable options. Results: Achieve and exceed monthly sales margin and revenue expectations and insurable customer service levels and KPIs. Communication: Proactively communicate with customers to fulfill commitments, exceed service expectations, and investigate and facilitate resolution of customer issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. 2 years of sales and customer service experience required. Knowledge of logistics industry preferred. Skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet performance metrics. Strong negotiation skills – persuasion, aggressiveness, confidence, resilience. Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit, passion, self‑motivation. Organization and attention to detail. Adaptability, multi‑tasking ability, sense of urgency. Confident decision‑making, problem‑solving, issue resolution skills. Additional Information
$50,000 base pay; potential commission within first year. Non‑exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable overtime, eligible. On‑site 5 days a week. Start date: February 2, 2026.
