Field Salesperson Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle Role focused on selling food processing and food packaging capital equipment to food plants in the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle territory. This is a full-time field sales position with Reiser, responsible for sales growth, gross profit and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Overview With more than 60 years in the food equipment industry, Reiser provides high-quality equipment, innovative engineering, and strong service and support. The Field Salesperson will represent Reiser’s lines and work to build lasting partnerships with customers and maintain a results-driven approach to territory management.

Essential Functions

Professionally represent our lines of capital equipment for food processing and food packaging to new and existing customers in Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.

Continually build pipeline through cold-calling, networking and maintaining positive relationships; internally and externally.

Share best sales practices with the Reiser team.

Be actively involved with sales industry associations.

Produce accurate sales reports in a timely manner.

Help to facilitate quotations, product samples and deliveries.

Work closely with the field service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Five or more years of experience selling food processing and/or food packaging capital equipment. Experience selling relatable systems or services to the food industry will be considered; experience in the meat/protein industry is highly preferred.

Aggressive, enthusiastic and determined with a proven track record of success.

Understands the importance of selling equipment with an added service component and working closely with the service team.

Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task.

Comfortable communicating with people from the shop floor to presidents of companies.

Ability to travel 50%–60% overnight within the territory.

Undergraduate degree preferred.
