The Role

Presidio has an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to grow their careers as a technology sales professional. The Sales Account Manager position involves engaging with customers and technology partners to drive business growth. You will focus on nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities. Success depends on managing your accounts efficiently, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions and strong account management practices.

Travel Requirements:

Local regional travel - 20%

Responsibilities Include:

Customer Engagement & Account Growth:

Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Prospecting New Business:

Identify and engage prospective customers in target industries, developing new leads and converting them into long-term clients.

Sales Strategy Execution:

Develop and implement account plans aligned with sales targets and customer objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources and solutions.

Operational Command:

Maintain a strong operational understanding of your accounts, ensuring seamless service delivery, tracking performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and analyzing account health.

Collaboration with Partners:

Build and maintain relationships with Presidio's technology partners, such as AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco, to create joint go-to-market strategies and add value to your customers.

Achieve & Exceed Quotas:

Meet or surpass revenue and engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.

Required Skills and Experience:

3-5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with experience working with technology partners to drive joint sales opportunities.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, focusing on customer retention and new business development.

Strong operational skills: managing multiple accounts efficiently, forecasting, and tracking account health.

Experience working with or through channel partners is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.

Experience selling cloud, managed services, and automation solutions.

Highly motivated, results-driven, with a passion for building relationships and delivering customer success.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Problem-solving mindset, focused on delivering tailored solutions to customer challenges.

3-5 years of sales experience in the technology sector.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military background.
