Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balancing the register according to company policy Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout Handling cash, checks and credit cards according to company policy Obtaining management approval for returns, voids and checks as needed Maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned Providing proper customer service (greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing customers in promptly, thanking customers and inviting them to return) Following all safety procedures Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assisting management with merchandising on the sales floor according to stock level Assisting management with tasks requested per company policy Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Supporting Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following current operational policies Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) Seniority level
