Cell Therapy Account Specialist
as part of the
Sales
team based in
St. Louis, MO (remote) .
Role Overview The Cell Therapy Account Specialist is responsible for representing Legend’s products and services to a defined customer base, generating and growing sales, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within a specific geographic area.
Key Responsibilities
Drive multiple myeloma CAR‑T brand choice among institution‑based oncology customers.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Legend and competitor products in the therapeutic area, and understand the complexities associated with the disease state.
Navigate a complex account environment, understand the needs of stakeholders at all levels, and triage to the appropriate internal stakeholders for support.
Develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to each geography.
Provide insights to cross‑functional teams on HCP interactions, account business trends, and therapeutic landscape changes.
Leverage intelligence to develop and implement an account business plan that meets customer needs and corporate goals.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on cross‑functional projects and co‑promotion of products.
Identify and resolve issues and opportunities, communicate proactively to marketing and sales management, and prepare territory budget plans for external expenditures.
Represent Legend at national and/or local symposiums and conferences.
Demonstrate initiative, urgency, and compliance in a fast‑paced environment.
Model appropriate compliance and conduct, maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, and adhere to company policies and ethics.
Perform administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information, submitting expenses, and reporting adverse events.
Actively promote appropriate use of Legend’s products in accordance with corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
Strict compliance with regulatory agencies, state, and federal law is required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales in specialty, oncology, or rare disease.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
Experience managing large accounts, including strategic planning and problem solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
